dev center update

It’s been over three weeks since Apple shut down its Developer Center in response to a hacker breach. Following several days of confusion, the company came clean, admitting that its users’ personal information had been compromised and promising to completely overhaul the entire site. Since then, a number of Dev Center services have slowly returned, and Apple is now promising to have the entire service up and running by the end of the week.

In an official update posted to the temporary Dev Center landing page, Apple notes that the majority of its services are currently back online, including the Dev Centers, software downloads, Apple Developer Forums, Bug Reporter, the App Store Resource Center and iTunes Connect. The company plans to relaunch the few remaining services this week, including license agreements, technical support inquiries, program enrollments and renewals in the Member Center.

Apple has also extended any user memberships that were set to expire during the downtime. While the company continues to bring back these online services you can check for availability on a temporary status page.
